The frame has a coppery colour to it but we think its brass- it is tarnished over time as this is quite an old mirror - certainly mid century or earlier

The earliest bi were produced in the Neolithic period

The enamel is in good condition but the brass is showing through on the wings

This has the original artists blind stamp
