Case is 6" x 4. 75" closed. Scratched onto the back of the dag is the following ID and date: "Walter and Alice H. Cresson December 8, 1847" The Cressons were a prominent family in Philadelphia. They were successful merchants and saw makers. Walter (1817 1893) married Alice Hunnum (1824 1915)
