Response: As previously discussed, section 1833(t)(7)(D)(ii) of the Act requires that the cancer hospitals that meet the statutory criteria receive the full amount of the difference between payments for covered outpatient department services under the OPPS and a pre-BBA amount. Additionally, 1833(t)(18)(B) of the Act requires that if the Secretary determines that cancer hospitals' costs are higher than those of other hospitals, to provide an appropriate adjustment under section 1833(t)(2)(E) to reflect these higher costs
